It’s 7:30pm on November 2nd, 2023. I’m working on the finishing touches to the website. Earlier, I made sure all of my miscellaneous inventory is taken care of, such as coffee bags, labels, stickers, you name it. Everything appears to be in order. I find myself striving for that perfect “launch” and being afraid to launch until things were perfect. But in reality, there’s no such thing. Obstacles will appear. Equipment will break. Logistics will get twisted up.

That’s part of the learning process. Just like when I started roasting coffee almost 4 years ago, there were roadblocks and learning curves to overcome. I’m an engineer at the core, and always enjoy a good challenge. I’m just a normal guy with a true passion for aviation and coffee. And that’s why I decided to create Squadron Coffee, so I can combine both of my passions and share them with you. Even if you have nothing to do with airplanes, and are only an enthusiast, you’re just as welcome as the pilot who’s been flying for 70 years.

Over the next weeks, months, and even years, I have a roadmap of where and how I want to take Squadron Coffee. Getting to this pre-launch point has been a long time coming (several months), but I still have a long, LONG way to go. My promise to you as that I will put in the work to deliver the greatest cup of coffee to your doorstep, and share my life experiences in aviation. There will be growing pains, so please bear with me. Building this brand has been an amazing process and experience for me. So pull up a chair, pour a nice cup of coffee, and stay a while.
